The Life with ADHD Book Series – eBook and Audiobook

ADHD is more in focus than ever before.
Yet it can still feel like a lonely storm to stand in.

I never thought I would receive the diagnosis as an adult.
I had always managed. Functioned. Performed.
But I felt very small when faced with the support system –
and I know it’s even harder for many others.

That’s why I’ve written a book series about life with ADHD.
To make it a little easier – both for those who have ADHD and for those around them.

I have a short video alongside this with a poem, and I’ll be sharing more videos with background information about the project.

Here, you’ll also find material that didn’t quite fit naturally into the Life with ADHD books.

📘 What are the books about?
In the books, I write about what we know – and what we still don’t know – about ADHD today.
I share experiences from my own life, reflections from conversations with professionals, and thoughts on how ADHD can present itself in completely different ways from one person to another.

I cover topics such as:

Why so many are misunderstood – and often lose their footing before they get help

How life with ADHD can feel – and look – from childhood through old age

What I believe actually helps – and why small steps can make a big difference

Life with ADHD can be a heavy burden, but also a great gift. I believe it’s easier to live well if we understand more about why it is the way it is.

👥 Who am I writing for?
This series is especially for you if you have – or suspect you might have – ADHD yourself.
But the books are also for:

Relatives and friends who want to understand better

Teachers, professionals, and other helpers who meet children or adults with ADHD

Anyone wondering if they or someone they care about might have ADHD

I’ve written in an easy-to-read style, with many illustrations –
for those who want things simple and clear,
but also for those who already know a lot and want to see themselves reflected.

The illustrations were created in collaboration with Kåre Ivar (ChatGPT) and/or Erik S. Landsem (@elanseye), unless otherwise specified.

💬 Why this project matters to me
My goal is not to give a definitive answer.
But to offer insight – and a shared perspective.

To highlight the importance of being met as a person – not as a problem.
So you can get the help you need.
Before it gets too heavy.
Before you lose your footing entirely.

If you recognize yourself in this, I hope you’ll feel a little less alone in life with ADHD from now on.
